Huang is a Taiwanese drummer based in Hong Kong and Taipei. After becoming the youngest winner of Best Drummer of Yamaha Asian Beat Grand Final, he started playing as a jazz musician around the world. Adept in various genres and styles, Huang’s skills are also sought after in the Mando- and Canto-pop scenes, and he has participated in countless pop music productions and concerts.
In 2014 and 2015, he played with Crowd Lu for his Taipei Arena concerts and many music festivals; in 2015 he became band leader for Sky Wu’s tour and played with him around Asia in almost 20 concerts. After moving to Hong Kong in 2016, he toured with Aga (Agatha Kong), and is also the drummer for Andy Lau’s world tour 《My Love Andy Lau》.
He was invited to be a member of the jury for the 2020 Golden Indie Music Awards, and has been working on his YouTube Channel “Fish Huang on Drums”. He is currently working on the band R.O.O.T’s new album.
